Description
Occupational Skills Training for the PACE Program
The City of Atlanta’s PACE Program offers targeted occupational skills training for youth ages 14–24 who reside specifically in the English Avenue and Vine City communities. This initiative is designed to prepare young residents for high‑demand, high‑growth industries by providing focused, hands-on instruction that builds both technical ability and workplace confidence.
Participants receive training in sectors that align with current labor market needs, such as advanced manufacturing, information technology, healthcare, construction trades, and logistics. Each training track emphasizes skill development, industry‑recognized competencies, and exposure to real-world work environments. The goal is for each participant to earn a state recognized credential and allow them to become more marketable to employers.
Through structured instruction, career exploration, and supportive coaching, PACE equips young people with the tools needed to transition into employment, apprenticeships, or continued education.
The program ensures that English Avenue and Vine City youth have direct access to high‑quality career pathways that foster long-term economic mobility and community opportunity.
Training schedules & locations will vary because they are based on the training program you select. There will be no trainings held at our office.
