STEMtree Coding

Students will develop their coding skills through hands-on challenges, tackling problem-solving tasks in the first two sessions and applying their knowledge in the third. By the end of the program, they’ll present their coding projects at the Spring Showcase, demonstrating perseverance, creativity, and technical expertise.

Crocheting & Knitting

This workshop guides students step by step in mastering crocheting and knitting techniques. With patience and practice, they will refine their skills each week, ultimately creating a handmade item to take home—highlighting their dedication, growth, and craftsmanship.

Soccer

Students will sharpen their soccer skills by learning key moves, positions, and strategies before putting them to the test in dynamic games on an inflatable soccer field. Through teamwork and perseverance, they’ll build confidence and sportsmanship, culminating in an exciting final match.

Spanish Baking & Cooking

Blending language learning with culinary arts, this class immerses students in Spanish vocabulary while they bake and cook delicious recipes. By the end of the session, they’ll confidently prepare a dish while explaining the ingredients and steps in Spanish—combining language fluency with practical cooking skills.

Fencing

Students will step into the world of fencing, mastering footwork, defensive maneuvers, and strategic attacks. Through disciplined practice and determination, they will refine their skills and participate in a full match by the session’s end, demonstrating their newfound agility and tactical thinking.

Reybotics Robotics & VR

This hands-on class challenges students to design, build, and program robots while exploring virtual reality environments. They will solve complex problems, such as navigating mazes and completing tasks through trial and error. By the end of the session, students will proudly showcase their robotic creations in action.

Basketball

Students will learn key basketball skills, from dribbling and passing to strategic positioning. Through drills and teamwork, they’ll develop resilience and game strategy, culminating in friendly yet competitive matches on the inflatable court.

DJ Mixing & Choir

Students will dive into the world of music, learning the fundamentals of DJ mixing with a professional mix board while exploring vocal techniques, pitch, and musical notation in choir.

Chess

As part of the Alpha Chess Team, students will sharpen their strategic thinking skills, learning classic and advanced techniques while embracing resilience in competition. By the end of the session, they’ll be prepared to compete in local chess tournaments with confidence.

Art

Students will unleash their creativity through diverse artistic mediums, exploring painting, drawing, sculpture, and mixed media. Each session will inspire self-expression, leading to a final piece that reflects their artistic journey.
