Description
Apex Summer Rides is a summer program designed for youth in grades 5 through 12, offering three 8-week sessions throughout the months of June, July, and August. The program provides an opportunity for youth to engage in tri-weekly bike rides, exploring a variety of outdoor spaces across Southern Maine. Each full session includes access to a bicycle, safety gear, and all necessary equipment, ensuring a safe and enjoyable experience for all participants.
Equipment Needs
Apex provides road-ready bikes for all youth participants, so bringing your own bike is not required. However, students are welcome to use their personal bikes if they prefer. Please note that all personal bikes must pass a safety inspection by an Apex mechanic before they can be used in the program. Helmets are also provided for students free of charge.
What to Bring Each Day
