About

Community Assets (CA) was established in 1998 to serve as a critical resource to support area youth. Under the auspices of CA, the Urban Youth Entrepreneur Academy (UYEA) was created to offer youth a range of programs and services to help support their advancement in becoming productive adults in their community.

UYEA has been established to provide mentoring for elementary, middle, and high school in the Riverside and surrounding neighborhoods. The program has created partnerships with schools, community centers, churches, businesses, and the juvenile court system. UYEA matches adult coaches with youth and young adults. UYEA has set up a distinct science, technology, engineering, and mathematics extended day mentoring program.

Youth ecosystem from STEM pipeline flushing out youth programs 2nd-6th grade, 6th-8th grade (Middle School Classroom2Career) transitioning to high school 9th-12th grade and a (Classroom2Career Workforce Development Initiative) 14- to 24-year-old Career Exploration and Workforce Readiness.
