Description

Camp Eway engages participants in Environmental Sciences through hands-on E-STEAM (Entrepreneurship, Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Mathematics) activities. Based on the Eway Foundation Inc. Environmental Sciences Program (ESP) curriculum implemented in several Indianapolis Public Schools; Camp Eway builds on knowledge acquired during the school year. Campers learn about nature and the importance of conservation and preservation. Service Learning, Community and Civic Engagement, Urban Forestry, and Agriculture are key learning objectives of the summer program. The Eway Inc. program workbook is evidence-based, and evolved from proven methodologies. Specifically developed for sensitive populations, Camp Eway nurtures inquiry-learning, character, and social responsibility.
