Leelanau Investing For Teens (LIFT) is a free, out-of-school-time program serving students in 6th-12th grades across Leelanau County. Our mission is to create safe, welcoming spaces where teens can connect, grow, and feel a strong sense of belonging.
LIFT partners with Glen Lake, Leland, Northport, and Suttons Bay schools to provide after-school programming for middle school students at all four schools. We also offer high school-specific activities and support at Glen Lake, Northport, and Suttons Bay, including mentoring, homework help, enrichment opportunities, and community-building events.
During the summer, LIFT offers programming three days each week, with activities ranging from sailing and camping to field trips and service projects.
