MCCOY’s mission is to champion the positive development of youth through community and systems change. In 1993, after several years as a division of city government, MCCOY Inc. was established as an independent nonprofit organization to be the facilitating, convening, and coordinating body for youth services in our community.
We are an intermediary; our work adds value by keeping the focus on developing supports and opportunities needed for positive youth development.
The driving force of our work is the pursuit of three hopes for local young people:
- Economic self-sufficiency
- Healthy family and social relationships
- Contributing membership in the larger community
Our Board of Directors is made up of 30 passionate volunteers, including youth members, from a variety of backgrounds. We are proud to work with individuals from all walks of life who desire to make our community a better place for young people can grow up well.
