ProjectArt's tuition free classes run October-May and materials are provided for all students age 4-18. Local, professional artists teach classes following the National Arts Education Association standards to create fun and imaginative arts experiences every week! Registration is required in advance and space is limited.

Meet ProjectArt Teaching Artist: Kianna Franklin

Kianna Azure Lauryn Franklin is a multi-disciplinary artist from Brooklyn, NY. Enamored by the act of creating and the therapeutic aspects of the process. She seeks peace of mind with every stroke of her brush, pen or graphite; feeling as though no medium is off limits in her expression. She received a BA in Fine Arts from the University of the District of Columbia where she also received a scholarship for Division II lacrosse. In her efforts of making a name for herself artistically- she found her voice through line, texture, and space. Every now and then she appears in front of the camera rather than behind the scenes due to her love for fashion. She has taught at Studio Gallery in Washington D.C and was an intern at PJAC community center.
