About ProjectArt


ProjectArt’s free classes run from September - May. Materials are provided for all students ages 4-18. Local, professional artists teach classes aligned with the National Arts Education Association standards and are informed by the teaching artist's creative practice. ProjectArt classes are fun, imaginative and cultivate a love of learning.


Enrollment is ongoing throughout the year. Registration is required in advance, and space is limited.

Hands On- Modernism


This Project explores modernism through hands-on art-making inspired by Salvador Dalí, Méret Oppenheim, René Magritte,Hannah Höch, Picasso, Piet Mondrian, Hilma af Klint, and Jackson Pollock. Each session begins with a short presentation on 1-2 artist’s style and techniques, followed by creating works in their style. Through this blend of learning and practice, participants will gain a deeper understanding of modernist movements and develop their own creative skills.
