SSF After-School Tennis Program – Learn, Grow & Play! 🎾
At the Sloane Stephens Foundation, we believe tennis is more than just a sport—it’s a way for young people to build confidence, discipline, and character. Our free After-School Tennis Program provides a fun, supportive environment where students can get their homework done, develop their tennis skills, stay active, and grow both on and off the court.
What Your Child Will Gain:
🍴 Snack at Driftwood Elementary (for Driftwood students) | 2:00–2:30 PM
Driftwood Elementary students will receive a snack immediately after school as part of the Driftwood Elementary after-school program. Students participating in the tennis program will then be escorted to Driftwood Community Center by an assigned Driftwood Elementary teacher.
📚 Homework Help & Tutoring | 2:30–3:30 PM
Students receive dedicated time for homework support and tutoring with staff who can help them stay on track academically and build confidence in the classroom.
🎾 Tennis Instruction | 3:30–5:30 PM
Players develop their tennis skills through structured instruction, drills, and practice while building confidence, focus, and a strong foundation in the game.
💪 Confidence & Resilience
Students learn how to handle challenges, recover from mistakes, and approach competition with confidence and a positive mindset.
🏆 Competition & Sportsmanship
Players gain experience through tennis activities and match play while learning discipline, respect, teamwork, and healthy competition.
🌟 Character & Life Skills
Tennis helps students develop perseverance, goal-setting, accountability, and other skills that can help them succeed both on and off the court.

Monday – Friday: 2:30 PM – 5:30 PM
Pick-up is promptly at 5:30 PM
