Thank you for your interest in becoming a ReadUP volunteer tutor!
About ReadUP
ReadUP is a literacy initiative of United Way of Central Indiana that partners with local elementary schools across seven Central Indiana counties to help third-grade students strengthen their reading skills. Through one-on-one tutoring, caring adult volunteers use engaging books and evidence-based literacy strategies to build students' vocabulary, reading fluency, comprehension, and confidence throughout the school year.
Volunteer Registration Information
Only register to be a substitute tutor at this school site if you are available to fill in when a weekly or biweekly volunteer is absent. Indicate the day(s) of the week you are available to fill in on the registration form.
The ReadUP Coordinator will contact you as substitute opportunities become available throughout the program year.
Please allow 5–7 business days after your registration submission to receive a response from a ReadUP Coordinator regarding your next steps.
