Description
The Mariachi Class builds student proficiency in instrumental technique, music theory, and the stylistic conventions of mariachi music. Students work in large and small group settings on violin, trumpet, vihuela, guitar, and guitarron, and study both the repertoire and cultural context of mariachi, culminating in a final showcase performance each semester.
