Description
Are you looking for a safe and fun environment for your youth to play basketball? Welcome to Monday Night Basketball at Parkridge Community Center. Middle and high school students are invited to participate in open basketball every Monday evening from 4:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Students will be provided dinner and can receive tutoring during our open study hall sessions.
This program includes:
-Access to resources and free tutoring
-A safe environment
-A healthy snack or meal will be provided
Program Itinerary:
- 4:30 PM-4:45 PM: Prep-time and snack
- 4:45 PM-5:30 PM: Homework and tutoring time
- 5:30 PM-6:15 PM: Snack/mealtime and temperature check
- 6:15 PM-7:30 PM: Basketball, check-in/check-out, and wrap up
*Study Hall is mandatory to participate in basketball time. *
This program is a collaboration between Washtenaw Community College, Supreme Felons, Washtenaw County, the City of Ypsilanti, Family Empowerment Center, the City of Ypsilanti Police Department, and the Ypsilanti Housing Commission.
