REGISTRATION: Parkridge STEM Summer Camp- 2025 (Ages of 8 & 9)

Description

Parkridge Community Center is excited to announce its annual "Parkridge STEM Summer Camp: A Summer Learning Experience." The camp will focus on STEM education (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) and will be held every weekday from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. at the Parkridge Community Center, located at 591 Armstrong Dr., Ypsilanti, Michigan 48197. This camp is designed for campers between the ages of 6 to 12 years old.

This camp offers a unique and engaging academic experience for

campers. Each week will be filled with fun and enlightening STEM activities

from Monday to Thursday. The curriculum will be taught by subject experts and

certified teachers in areas such as math, reading, writing, soft skills, and

more. Additionally, free breakfast, lunch, and snacks will be provided daily.

In the mornings, our highly qualified camp staff will engage

campers with enriching activities, while the afternoons will feature various

organizations specializing in STEM. We are thrilled to partner with Toyota,

Huron River Watershed Council, DTE Energy, Bank of Ann Arbor, Ypsilanti

District Library, Square One Education Network, the YMCA at Port Sport, the

STEM ED Institute at EMU, and many others to provide impactful learning

projects and activities.

Campers will also receive free water safety training provided by

Rutherford Pool. Every Friday will be dedicated to "Field Trip

Fridays," with drop-off and pick-up times varying based on the trip. We

will provide additional details well in advance.

The cost for the camp is $375, which includes all learning

materials, field trip entry fees, and meals. Please note that registration will

not be confirmed until all required information and payment have been received.

Scholarship opportunities are available on a first-come, first-serve basis,

with additional terms and conditions applying.
