The Youth Enrichment After School Program, operated by the nonprofit New Hope Family Life Ministries, aims to support elementary and middle school students in Northern Hardin County Schools by offering a positive learning environment and academic help after regular school hours.
Upon arrival, students are provided with snacks by the staff. After-school sessions occur at the Derek L. Brown Gymnasium at 1582 Hill Street in Radcliff, KY 40160.
The targeted schools for the program are Woodland Elementary, North Park Elementary, Meadow View Elementary, North Middle School, and Radcliff Elementary.
Program Features:
Qualified and Dedicated Staff: Our program is staffed by a team of experienced educators from Hardin County Schools or Fort Knox School Systems who are passionate about helping students succeed. They provide individualized support and proven strategies to address students’ unique learning needs.
Homework Assistance: Students receive one-on-one or small group support to complete homework assignments. Our staff has been trained to offer guidance, clarify concepts, and provide assistance in various subjects, ensuring students grasp the material thoroughly.
Study Skills Development: Our program incorporates study skills sessions to equip students with effective learning techniques, time management skills, and organizational strategies. These skills empower students to become more efficient and independent learners.
Enrichment Activities: We believe in providing a well-rounded educational experience. Our program offers a range of enrichment activities, including educational games, project-based learning, and interactive workshops, which help students broaden their knowledge and foster a love for learning.
