DBI vision is for every daughter with an incarcerated parent to live a healthy stable life and have a strong, positive, relationship with her parent during and after incarceration.
Daughters Beyond Incarceration (DBI) is led by people with first-hand experience of the impacts of incarceration. DBI is dedicated to breaking the cycle of poverty and crime by advocating for girls with incarcerated parents and building strong parent-to-child relationships through public education, leadership development and implementing policy change.
