Description

DBI welcomes undergraduate and graduate students who are passionate about justice, youth development, and community change. Whether you're studying social work, public policy, communications, nonprofit management, or a related field, DBI offers hands-on experience that connects classroom learning to real-world impact.

Interns support work across three areas of the organization:

  1. Programs & Youth Work: support mentoring sessions, program coordination, and youth advocacy initiatives including the Policy Fellowship and Legacy Leaders program
  2. Marketing & Communications: assist with social media, content creation, event materials, and storytelling that amplifies the voices of DBI girls
  3. Development & Fundraising: support grant research, donor outreach, sponsorship tracking, and campaign coordination

Compensation details are determined on a case-by-case basis. Students seeking academic credit are encouraged to apply. Even if your area of study isn't listed above, reach out, DBI has a place for students who show up with heart and hustle.
